Great recording!!
Another great show by this Great Band - and yes the sound on this recording is just excellent!
Found out about the mermen last year and I hope they will do some east coast shows soon - they could do an east coast beach tour covering all the beach clubs from Florida to Maine.
Here's hoping.

Corrections
I'm the guy who recorded this, mixed it and processed it. Sherm has some errors in the info. My name is Jay J. Hector. Mixer was Mackie 1604VLZ Pro. One Oktava on kick.
I'm glad to see that new Mermenites find the recording of value. Thanks for the kind comments.
I'm giving a five star rating as I tried to capture the Mermen as I hear them, and I have never stopped listening to this recording because it came out so well.
Most of all though, I thank Jim and the Mermen for the great music, and for the great kindness towards me and all the Mermen enthusiasts.

The best sound quality of all the shows
This just happened to be my intro to the best band on the planet. I have downloaded most of the shows here and this is by far the best recording of them all. This is a great show - man I wish I was there.

Not Bad at All
I don't know how this compares to the other Mermen shows, but the sound is good, you really pick up the reverb, the mix is pretty sweet, and the band is excellent. This is my first experience with The Mermen, and I'm glad I took the time to download it.
